Relationship Between Nursing Satisfaction and Empathic Tendency Levels of Patients Şenay Karadağ Arlı Agri Ibrahim Cecen University, School Of Health Aim: This research was conducted to evaluate the relationship between nursing satisfaction and empathy levels of the patients. Methods: The descriptive study was conducted with the attendance of 297 patients in Ağrı state hospital who agreed to work between March 2018 and June 2018. Data Personal Data Form was collected with Newcastle Nursing Care Satisfaction Scale (NNCSS) and Empathic Tendency Scale (ETS). Results: The average age of the participants was 48.27 ± 18.75. It was determined that there was a meaningful difference between the NNCSS score and the income level (p <0.01), but there was no significant difference between the ETS average score and the income level (p> 0.05). It was determined that there was no significant difference between the NNCSS total point average and the hospitalized service (p> 0.05), and there was a significant difference between the ETS total point average and the hospitalized service (p <0.01). Conclusion: Nursing satisfaction and empathic tendency ratios of the patients participating in the research were found to be at a good level. It was determined that there was a significant positive correlation between satisfaction levels and empathic tendency levels of patients participating in this study. Keywords: Patient Satisfaction, Empathic tendency, Nursing care Hastaların Hemşirelik Bakımından Memnuniyetleri ile Empatik Eğilim Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişki Şenay Karadağ Arlı Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen Üniversitesi, Sağlık Yüksek Okulu Amaç: Bu araştırma, hastaların hemşirelik bakımından memnuniyetleri ile empati düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi değerlendirmek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki çalışma, Ağrı devlet hastanesinde Mart 2018-Haziran 2018 tarihleri arasında servislerde yatan ve çalışmayı kabul eden 297 hastanın katılımıyla yapıldı. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu Newcastle Hemşirelik Bakımı Memnuniyet Ölçeği (NHBMÖ) ve Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği (EEÖ) ile toplandı. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılanların yaş ortalaması 48.27±18.75’ti. NHBMÖ toplam puan ortalaması ile gelir durumu açısından ise anlamlı fark olduğu belirlenmekle (p<0.01) birlikte EEÖ toplam puan ortalaması ile gelir durumu açısından anlamlı fark olmadığı bulundu (p>0.05). NHBMÖ toplam puan ortalaması ile hastanın yattığı servis açısında anlamlı fark olmadığı belirlenmekle (p>0.05), birlikte EEÖ toplam puan ortalaması ile hastanın yattığı servis açısından ise anlamlı fark olduğu bulundu (p<0.01). Sonuç: Araştırmaya katılan hastaların hemşirelik bakımından memnuniyetleri ve empatik eğilim oranlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlendi. Bu çalışmaya katılan hastaların memnuniyet düzeyleri ile empatik eğilim düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişkili olduğu belirlendi.
