Abstract

INTRODUCTION

The quality of life can be identified as the perception form of the individual’s own situation within his/her culture and a value system. The quality of life’s qualities which fulfills and value the life include not only the symptoms but also subjective wellness, happiness, functionality, discomfort feelings of the individual.

METHODS

The alcohol dependence is a multi dimensional disorder which causes disruption in physical and psychological health and also social relationships of the individual.

RESULTS

The alcohol dependence which is a chronic disorder causes an economic burden for the individual, affects negatively the organism and also damages the health.

DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION

For that reason, together with the alcohol dependence, it is inevitable to evaluate the quality of life. The evaluation of the quality of life puts the patient within the center of the treatment and evaluates his/her thoughts. The measurement of the quality of life requires an integrative approach to the current health services which are focused on symptomatic recovery.
