Abstract

Aim: This study was carried out to examine the attitudes of health personnel on gender roles and the factors that affect them.

Materials and Method: The universe of this descriptive and cross-sectional study was made up of health staff working on the ground in the Inner Anodul region. No sampling process was employed; instead, a total of 284 health staff working accepting to participate in the study were involved. The data were collected through a questionnaire form developed by the Researcher and Gender Roles Attitude Scale, valuated medium using number, percentages, and independent t test and one way analysis of variance significance test (95 % confidence interval, p<0.05 significance.

Results: The results obtained from the research revealed that the mean score achieved by the health personnel was 111.44 ± 9.01 There was no statistically significant difference between gender, marital status, educational status, family type, place of residence and occupation and gender attitudes of the health personnel participating in the research.

Conclusion: This study it was found that the health personels had egalitarian gender roke attidues
