Abstract

INTRODUCTION

Growing with breastfeeding is the right of every nevborn.It should be aimed to give breast milk to every newborn as soon as possible after the delivery in the first hour. The initiation and sustainability of appropriate nutrition is very important for the newborns which are not being able to be breastfed. It is very hard to define an optimal method of baby nutrition. Every newborn nurse must know and have administration skills of enteral feeding protocols. The nurse who are with close contact with mother and baby should consult with parents on feeding. The aim of this article is explaining and informing the nurses about the newborn enteral feeding protocols.
