Abstract

Nicotine addiction is a problem with psychological, sociological, economic and clinically significant effects on human health. Smoking, which is a major problem in terms of mortality, years lost in life and hospital costs, is the most important preventable disease and the cause of premature death. In our country where seventeen million people are cigarette consumers, one hundred thousand people lose their lives due to cigarette-related illnesses. There are various approaches to the methods of interfering with nicotine addiction. The purpose of this review is to address these approaches and activities.
