Abstract

Romantic relationship abuse is a behaviour contain power, control and force. Romantic relationship abuse is called as partner/spouse abuse. Also, intimate partner violence, intimate partner abuse, spousal abuse/violence or domestic violence is used same mean with romantic relationship abuse. Thereby it is said that romantic abuse is a common problem among university students. Abuse and violence experiences cause devastating and adverse consequences in community. In this review romantic relationships, its risk factors and prevention methods are discussed.
