Abstract
INTRODUCTION
In this descriptive study, it is aimed to determine the plasure of nurses and midwifes work at a hospital.
METHODS
Survey questions that aim to determine the factors affects their pleasure and measure their satisfaction from work environment and institutions of nurses and midwifes working at a public hospital were developed and validated to 20 nurses and midwifes. It is administered to 396 nurses and midwifes.
RESULTS
%89,1 of nurses and midwifes are women. The age of employees was as follows; 27.8% 18-25 years, 23% 26-30 years, 18.4% at age 31-35, age 36-45 is 16.4%, 14%, 4 to 45 years of age or older. The participants of the training status of high school 15.5%, 22.1% associate degree, 57% graduate high of 4.3% of license. 54.3% of respondents work profession they chose willingly, %70 had received adequate training in the profession, %64.1 also reported that they do love the profession. The proportion of 30% are satisfied with the work of the agency, which is part of the proportion of the delighted 37%, are not satisfied with the rate of 33%. The proportion of saying that because of the workload and the number of seizures over the negative impact on social life is 61%. 40.9% of the study participants reported that the charge lack nurses’ the most basic problem. The rate is 55.8% for those who want to leave the institution. The biggest reason is the difficulty of access to those who want to leave, 45,8%.
DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
While the age of the employee progresses, increases time spent in the profession and stays at working position as long as their pleasure increases.
