Abstract

Dementia occurs as a major health problem in the societies where the elderly population is increased. Dementia disorders are one of the problems affecting the individual and the family, and more than half of the cases content Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease is defined as a complex and progressive brain degenerative disorder. AD also reveals a variety of behavioral changes with cognitive and functional decline. Behavioral changes that occur in Alzheimer's disease cause distress to the patient as well as the caregiver relatives. In this article, it is aimed that caregivers understand the causes of behavioral problems caused by the disease and have knowledge about how to manage behavioral problems.
