Abstract
The aim of drug treatment is to maximize the beneficial effects of the drug, to minimize harmfulor side effects. Nurses are responsible for the application of drugs in the light of the principles, by evaluating the individual as an holistically, to monitoring drug response and from education about the drugs that the individual is used. In this situation, nurses have to allocate a significant portion of their daily working time to drug applications. Complications such as local pain, ecchymosis or hematoma sare frequently seen as a result of incorrect administration of subcutaneous injections in which the individual has a self-application requirement and often low-molecular weight heparin, insülin and morphine are implemented, as well as being implemented by the nurses in the clinical setting. In reducing these problems, it is very important that the individual's developmental characteristics, health status, and ensuring the patient safety. This article aims to propose a recommendation for "safe injection applications" in the light of there search results related to the problem of preventing adverse effects on subcutaneous injection applications.
