Abstract
Professional socialization is defined as the process of internalizing knowledge, skills, attitudes, beliefs, values, norms, ethical standards for a profession and making them a part of their behavior. Clinical practice plays an important role in the realization of professional socialization in nursing students. Students are preparing for the role of professional nurses by synthesizing theoretical and practical applications in clinical practice areas, so they learn to think and behave like a nurse. The caregiver instructor and clinical learning environment have an important role on support of professional socialization process at nursing students. The aim of this review is to share the importance of positive clinical learning environment and caregiver instructor in professional socialization process in nursing.
