Objective: The research was conducted as a descriptive study in order to evaluate the internet usage of pregnant women about pregnancy related issues.
Method: The sample of the study consisted of 433 pregnant women who applied to gynecology outpatient clinics of a public hospital between December 2018 -February 2019. The data of the study was collected with a data collection form consisting of questions about the socio-demographic characteristics of pregnant women and internet usage in pregnancy related subjects. The obtained data were analyzed using number, percentage and chi-square test.
Results: The mean age of the pregnant women was 28.0 ± 5.6, 72.5% of pregnant women used internet for pregnancy related subjects, 64.3% of them pregnancy symptoms, 59.2% suggestions for problems that occurred during pregnancy, 58.5% to investigate changes in pregnancy It was determined that they use. It was found that 31.2% of the pregnant women shared their internet information with health personnel. There was a significant relationship between education and economic status of pregnant women and internet use during pregnancy (p = 0.00).
Conclusion: In our study, it was determined that more than half of pregnant women use internet for pregnancy related issues and most of them trust this information. Keywords: Pregnacy, internet use, pregnant, technology

Amaç: Araştırma gebelerin gebelikle ilgili konularda internet kullanımını değerlendirmek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır.
Yöntem: Araştırmanın örneklemini Aralık 2018-Şubat 2019 tarihleri arasında bir kamu hastanesinin kadın doğum polikliniklerine başvuran toplam 433 gebe oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri, gebelerin sosyo-demografik özellikleri ile gebelikle ilgili konularda internet kullanımına yönelik sorulardan oluşan veri toplama formu ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler sayı, yüzde ve ki-kare testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
Bulgular: Gebelerin yaş ortalaması 28,0 ± 5,6 olup, %62,1’i de çekirdek aile yapısına sahiptir. Araştırmaya katılan gebelerin %72,5’inin gebelikle ilgili konulara yönelik internet kullandıkları, bunların %64,3’ü gebelik belirtileri, %59,2’si gebelikte meydana gelen sorunlara yönelik öneriler, %58,5’i gebelikte meydana gelen değişiklikleri araştırmak için kullandıkları saptanmıştır. Gebelerin %31,2’i internet bilgilerini sağlık personeli ile paylaştıkları saptanmıştır. Gebelerin öğrenim ve ekonomik durumları ile gebelikte internet kullanma arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir (p=0,00).
Sonuç: Araştırmamızda gebelerin yarıdan fazlasının gebeliğe yönelik konularda internet kullandıkları ve büyük bir kısmının bu bilgilere güvendikleri belirlenmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Gebelik, internet kullanımı, gebe, teknoloji
